Autumn is very late in coming in Western Colorado this year, but the change in seasons is finally beginning! We are halfway through September, so here is a short list of things to do to get your home ready for cooler months.

The leaves usually begin changing in September in Western Colorado. Cooler weather signals that it's time to do some home maintenance.

While we aren’t quite ready for things like shutting down the coolers for the season, it is time to start thinking ahead to when they need to be covered & prepped for Winter. Giving your gutters a quick glance every couple of weeks to make sure the leaves, twigs, & other debris is cleared out is also good. This is also a good time to make sure your furnace filters have been changed, and clean out any vents.
