How is it December already! 2019 is quickly coming to a close.
In honor of the holiday season, we will feature beautifully decorated homes this month. We hope you find some inspiration in these homes!
This beautiful room is decorated in shades of red, green, gold, and cream. I love the use of candles and candelabra lighting to add a soft glow to the space. I especially love that they utilized the fireplace without having to have a fire!
If you look closely, you will notice that they have set up lights in the fireplace under the logs to add the warm glow of a fire without having to actually light one. This is a great idea if you live where you don’t really need the warmth of the fireplace, or just don’t want to deal with the mess.
This looks like it is a beautiful room when there is no Christmas tree as well – I love the beams in the ceiling, the dark paneling, and that chandelier reflected in the mirror looks gorgeous! I imagine this room is filled with elegant antiques, and would be an inviting place to curl up with a good book or have a chat with a close friend.
