You could say Jennifer was born into the industry. Her father started his home construction business a few weeks before she was born, and her mother earned her real estate license a couple of years later. She grew up on construction sites, and worked in the front office of NHDI through high school and college.
After college she got a job with Norwest Mortgage, relocating to Phoenix for a short while, and then Washington State. Norwest Bank became Wells Fargo, and she continued working with them until the birth of her first child.
She was fortunate to stay at home with her kids, and operated a few online businesses before going to work as a teacher in the small private school her children attended.
She came back to the housing industry, earning her Trainee Appraiser license, and working for a firm in Bellevue, WA. She ended up returning to Colorado when her kids started high school, and worked as a development assistant in new construction.
Once again surrounded by the housing industry, she earned her Colorado real estate broker’s license, hung her license at NHDI, and joined the National Association of REALTORS®.
