Jennifer has worked within the housing industry for most of her life. Her father was a Residential General Contractor, and she grew up working on home construction sites. In 1992 she started working at New Horizons Development, Inc. as a receptionist, personal assistant, and property management assistant.
After graduating from college she worked at Norwest Mortgage, and discovered her love of helping people purchase their first home. Norwest Mortgage became Wells Fargo Home Mortgage while she lived in Phoenix, AZ, and she stayed with Wells Fargo until the birth of her first child.
She chose to be a stay-at-home mom, operating a small online business, and then taught middle and high school classes at a small private school in Washington. She came back to the housing industry, working as a licensed trainee appraiser with CJM Advisors before moving back to Western Colorado.
Since returning to Grand Junction in 2015, she has worked as a development assistant in residential new construction and earned her real estate broker’s license, once again helping people find their perfect home! She enjoys the process of designing new homes, bringing together the colors, finishes, and components to create a beautiful home. She still enjoys working with first time homebuyers to help them through the steps to owning their first home, and helping them find a new home when it’s time for an upgrade.
When she isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family, creating interesting items, enjoying music, and collecting stamps in her passport.
